Coldest Night of the Year
February 24, 2024
The Coldest Night of the Year is a walk that raises money for folks in our community who need our help. Some of them hungry, more than a few hurting and regrettably, some who are homeless too. Adults, moms and kids, seniors and youth as well.
Fundraising goes towards Jasper Food Bank, you can also donate to the Hinton Food Bank, access through the CNOY website.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 25th, at 1600 - team up, fundraise, walk and gather for good… because it’s cold out there!

Christmas Train Lighting
Come join us at the CN6015 Steam Engine, beside the Via Rail Jasper Station for:
Coffee, hot chocolate, and hot dogs by donation, photos with Santa, and a visit from Jasper the Bear.
Bring a toy for the toy drive and be entered in for a grand prize!
All proceeds donated will go to Jasper Santa's Anonymous.

Community Helpers
A training opportunity for all residents:
Practical training in supportive listening and suicide prevention. Learning how to access supports and community resources. The goal of Community Helpers is to build on your natural helping ability by providing you with the skills and knowledge you need to support your peers’ mental health and well-being.
$20 and lunch will be provided.

An evening of music and storytelling with special guests.

On Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 some different Peers will again be working in the Jasper Booking in Room. They will be there connecting with employees, answering questions and explaining what their role in the Common Connections Program is. Connect Days are all about learning about the program and putting a face to the name.

CTY Info Session
Join us at the Hinton Library to get more information on the CTY section of our local union. Bring your questions and concerns to your representatives. They will be there to help and answer you!
May 24th and 25 from 1300-1700.
